Trip of a Lifetime 2016- Day 1 and 2

We picked up the RV in Mint Hill and took forever getting out of town.  We got on the road and headed to Williamsburg.

We made it to Anvil Campground and got set up for the evening.

There were three play areas and the kids had a blast.

Everybody had their own bed and slept much better than we expected.

The shower was a little small for Jeremy.  He also broke the shower sprayer.

The next morning we were up bright and early and missed the bus because I forgot we needed cash.  So we had an hour to play, which is what the kids want anyway.  We still got to Busch Gardens early and had a blast.

Our use of public transportation was a blessing because we didn't have to unhook the rv, but we learned a lot about bus routes, williamsburg, and patience.  We waited on the bus and road the buses for a long time and even had to be rescued by a shuttle due to wrecks that put us behind schedule.

The kids area was nice with lots of cute rides, characters, and a splash pad. The whole park had lots of great rides for everyone.

Jensen loves arcade games even though he isn't even playing.

After lunch we found a delicious dessert place and got fantastic news that Wendy's colonoscopy was clear, so we were praising with our ice cream!

Momma is the one screaming!

The kids did so well with our public transportation experiences, but they were worn out by the time we got home.

End of year stuff

Haven had an "author's tea" and grammy and pop got to come see her writing from the year.

Our yard started looking lovely with all of the sunshine and rain. We haven't had rain in forever known everything is turning brown.

Haven also had a Sundae party.

They signed yearbooks.  It was so sweet.

Jovie drew these for Jeremy. She is an amazing artist.

We all got to volunteer at Fun Day and it was so fun.

Will

Jensen and I were checking out our garden one day.  It is doing really well.

He is also into posing for pictures right now and it is funny.

Mrs. Hlavacek was an amazing teacher.  I wish every year could be this good.  Hopefully they will.

Last day of school celebration!

The End of May

The little ones and I went to eat lunch with Haven.  She picked Brielle to set with us.

Our garden is growing well! We can't wait to pick veggies!

Jovie, Jensen, and I went to the Latta Plantation Nature Center the other day and played in the woods.  They had a new addition of hammock since the last time we were there.  I sat in for about 3 minutes before I got kicked out.

Haven lost her 7th tooth in the night at the beach.  She messed with it for the four hour trip to the beach and then woke up in the night with it on her tongue.

We loved riding on the golf cart at the beach.

Tropical Depression Bonnie was coming to the beach, but we had a fantastic time with really great weather.

We stopped by Peaches and Cream on the way home for delicious ice cream and peach cobbler!

It was hot the last day of May so we jumped in the neighbors' pool for the first time!
Here comes summer!
