floors and rugs

Our big 2016 house project was flooring.  We pulled up lots of carpet, took out 1million staples and nails and ripped up tile.  It was a lot of work and a nasty trip to the landfill, but so worth it. We had Lowe's install laminate flooring and it looks fantastic.

We needed a few rugs for playing and sound.  They all have a diamond, aztec inspired themed and I love them.  We are so glad this project is over!  I still have a little dust to clean, but I'm saying this is done.

GWL 2016

Haven was out of school for the election day, so we headed to Concord.  We found a spring deal on a room and had a blast! The girls could do everything except the biggest slide and Jensen had a blast doing everything that he could.  We have 3 water bugs and I am so proud of them.

Jensen loved this big bear!

Jensen loves games even if he has no tokens.

We enjoyed the bedtime story and show.

Wiley and the kids

The kids loved staying in the hotel.

Day 2 was filled with more fun.

We had a picnic lunch outside and enjoyed the beautiful day.

The kids wanted their faces painted so bad.  It only lasted about 15 minutes because they went right back in the water.

Jensen never warmed up to the huge bucket of water, but the others did. Jeremy was laying on the floor.

New Experiences

Bethany had her birthday party at Kate's Skating Rink.  The kids loved the new experience. The girls got a hang of it pretty quickly.  Jensen enjoyed the play areas and games.

Jeremy was really tall with his skates on!

It was Bonnie and Michael's anniversary, so they couple skated.

How does Pop take a nap with 3 kids sitting on him?

Our neighborhood egg hunt was a success and lots of fun.  I shared the Easter story using the resurrection eggs and although it was difficult to tell kids the story, I'm glad I was able to do it.

Jensen can pee anywhere he wants now.  It's great.

The kids love their daddy and that's nothing new!
