10 year Anniversary Trip Day 4 and 5

After a delicious continental breakfast at our hotel, we headed to downtown Franklin. They were having their annual Dickens Christmas Festival. It was freezing, but we enjoyed walking around and taking in this cute town.

We went in a lot of the storefronts too. They all have beautiful displays.

Characters were walking around taking pictures and talking to people in character.

There was beautiful music everywhere.

Jeremy was scared.

 Lots of beautiful artwork

It was snowing from the balcony of the courthouse.

Tiny Tim

We ate lunch at Puckett's Boat House and it was delicious. A pretty river runs through this town. We went in lots of antique stores too. I loved seeing all of the vintage Christmas decorations.

We rode a few miles on the Natchez Trace and saw the big beautiful bridge.

And with a wave from Santa we headed back to our hotel area and enjoyed a relaxing evening. Jeremy went to see a movie and I went to get a pedicure.

We had a wonderful night of rest and headed home the next morning. It was an amazing trip with just the two of us. We really appreciate that our parents were willing to keep our 3 kiddos to make it happen.
