Christmas Eve

We started celebrating Christmas Eve for breakfast at Grammy and Pop's new house.

The kids were so cooperative to take a few pictures.

Present Time!

We hit up Cookout for lunch and then came home to play with new toys and to watch The Polar Express again.

Jovie and Jensen were entranced.

 This girl is silly!

We had Christmas Eve dinner with our Bradham family. Jack's family was sick so they didn't get to
come. I didn't take any pictures, but here are few that Wendy took.

Christmas Eve Eve

We exchanged gifts with the Bradleys. Haven asks me often if they are our family and I always say well no but yes. When you have been friends for close to 30 years, you are family.

Sweet kids and two silly 3 year olds that can't just smile for a picture.

PreChristmas Activities

We went to a local neighborhood to check out a house with hundreds of inflatables!

We got out and walked around and the kids loved it.

We also went to the First Presbyterian Stanley Outdoor Christmas Drama. The kids loved it too, but especially the ice cream afterward.

Jensen loves camels.

We went to Birkdale for lunch one day and to see the bears.

Haven was ready for a big girl haircut.

So I cut her a big girl hair cut.  7 inches.

The kids were lounging at Grammy's last Sunday.

We took a walk down their new street and the girls looked so cute on the fence.

This Sunday was also Jeremy's birthday, so we went to eat at Firebirds with his family to celebrate.

Preschool Christmas Program

Jovie and Jensen had the cutest Christmas program. They sang lots of songs, Jensen shook jingle bells, and they put ornaments on the tree. It was sweet as can be!

Truth in the Tinsel

We loved doing our Truth in the Tinsel advent this year. The scriptures and crafts were awesome. I am already excited about next year. The girls really enjoyed it and it seemed to help make the Christmas story come to life.

They really liked the story of Zechariah and the bubble on his mouth to remind them that he couldn't speak.

Until next year!
