The fastest year of our life

Seriously, the days were long but the year was short. I can't believe it is already 2014. We had an exciting year. Jensen grew so much. The girls are so big and happy. We sold our home and bought a new one. Jeremy got to play drums a lot and took an improv class. I played in a women's soccer league.  Despite some stress and lots of tears from little ones, we had a great year.

Pictures from my sis of our family at Haven's party and our Bradham family at Christmas.

We celebrated New Year's Eve at our favorite steak house, Lineberger's with our favorite old friends.

Christmas Eve and Day

Our Christmas celebrations started at my parent's house. We had a yummy lunch and then opened presents.

Reindeer Jovie

Jeremy played drums for a Christmas Eve service and the kids and I lasted about 20 minutes.

Christmas Eve night we went back to my parent's for our Bradham get together. The kids had a blast playing together.

Christmas morning at our house.
Haven got up first and ran in our room to tell us that Santa brought her scooter and that Jovie got a skateboard. Jovie and Jensen were snoozing for a while.

Little brother got shafted this year :)

Nice bed head!

Jovie really liked her tupperware tea set.

The Minnie tent was a hit!

We headed to Jeremy's parents house for lunch and presents.

Jensen, Lyndsey and Tiny

Haven and Jovie were embracing over the Octonauts gifts.

Jeremy got drumsticks that everyone enjoyed. Jensen was having a blast.

Then he got tired.

Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Haven liked her new dvd player!

Us. The girls had on crazy makeup.

The aftermath. Crazy!

Today, the kids really enjoyed their presents. They started a family band.

Jovie enjoyed a little bit of everything in her bed.

We had a fantastic Christmas with lots of family. We are so blessed and enjoyed celebrating Jesus' birthday. We have hope and joy because of him.

The week before Christmas

The girls sang and recited their scripture verse at our church Christmas service. They were so cute on stage and did a really good job.

As soon as they sang, Jensen and I headed off to watch Jeremy play the drums in an orchestra at our old church. The cantata was beautiful and Jeremy did an amazing job.

 Jensen loved playing the drums.

The next day, we headed downtown to watch the bears and eat lunch with Jeremy.

Later Monday, Haven had show day at dance. They were really cute ballerinas. It was so fun to watch their songs and dances.

Haven and Jovie participated in their preschool Christmas program on Wednesday. They sang lots of songs and Haven had a speaking part. "I, said the donkey, all shaggy and brown. I carried his mother uphill and down. I carried her safely to Bethlehem town. I, said the donkey, all shaggy and brown."

Jeremy and I celebrated our 33rd birthdays. We had an exciting week leading up to Christmas.

Haven's Fairy Special Birthday

Haven turned 5 on the 9th, but we had her party last Friday night at a local party place. It was so much fun. All I had to do was bring the cake, that was the best part for mom! Haven wanted to have a girly party this year with her buddies.

It was decorated so pretty!

The girls decorated fairy wings and head pieces.

Here is the fairy dust!

My big girl!

All the fairies!

Haven's love language is definitely gifts!

She made a five out of our ruler!

On her birthday, Jeremy and I took her to see Frozen. It was a good movie.

She sure isn't a 3 lb 9oz little baby anymore. She is barely 30 lbs, but so smart and spunky. We have a big year ahead of us with school coming up. She is acting like such a big girl and is a big helper to us.
