Let's Pawty!

We had Jensen's party a week early because most of our family will be traveling over the next week. We tried to come up with a cute theme for his party, but then when we thought about what he has enjoyed the most during his first year, it all came down to dogs. He says "gog" and barks a little and just gets thrilled when a puppy comes around. He did have his first frightening experience with a dog this week, but the dog just surprised him. He wasn't hurt, just scared.

So, here are some pictures from his first party!

Our new, christmas decoration greeted our guests!

The invitation from McSwain Design.

His cake!

The girls gathered up all the dogs we had in the house.

We had hotdogs, chips, and salad.

He loved his cake!

Jensen's favorite present was definitely his Cars riding toy!

We met Jeremy's parents, sister, aunt, uncle, and cousins in Gatlinburg a few weekends ago. We stayed at a beautiful cabin and had a great time playing with cousins and enjoying a weekend away from home.

Two-wheelin it!

A few days after we moved in, Haven borrowed Beth's little bike. She practiced for days and mastered riding on two wheels. We all are so thrilled!

The Move!

It's been two weeks since we moved. We are settling in, but are no where close to being done with little projects. We are taking it day by day.

I was thinking this morning about the things I really liked about our last house. I loved the big porch and the brightness in the house. I hardly ever had to turn on lights. I loved the afternoon shade on our driveway because we could play all afternoon even in the summer time. I loved the trees we planted. I loved the plantation shutters we installed.  GUESS WHAT? All of these things are here at our new house. We have a huge back porch, lots of bright windows, afternoon shade on the awesome driveway, lots of trees, and plantation shutters on some of the windows. I think God was just reminding me that if we seek HIM FIRST, he will take care of all of the little details. He loves me that much!

Here a few before pictures.
