moving- what i've learned so far part 1

1. we have way too much stuff.

2. it feels great to sell lots of stuff.

3. it stinks to live in a house that is half packed because we are sitting on cushions.

4. we only need like 1/4 of the stuff we haven. we haven't needed to get hardly anything out of our boxes.

5. kids don't need much at all to have a good time.

6. neighbors talk to you a lot more when they know you are leaving.

Almost 11 months

This cutie will be 11 months next week. He is standing for long periods of time, walking with assistance, and climbing everything he can get his knees on. He is saying bye bye, mama, dada, ball, and makes a barking noise at dogs. He laughs so much more than the girls did and screams so loud our ear drums may burst.

He loves his sisters and wants to do everything they are doing. He still doesn't sleep through the night consistently, but he is getting in his 7th tooth this week so that might have something to do with it. He's a real, live, baby doll for sure!

Pumpkin Patch

We went on our yearly pumpkin patch tour at Patterson Farms on Friday. The kids had a blast. The weather was perfect. We had a picnic, played on the awesome playground, watched a video, fed animals, went on a hayride, and played some more.

The kids are getting so big!

Jensen enjoyed his first time in the corn!

Jensen and Aunt Wendy

They stuffed a scarecrow too!

Apple Pickin

We enjoyed our trip to Apple Hill Orchard again this year. It was Jensen's first tractor ride and apple tasting. We had a great time with our little friends. The weather was beautiful and the apple treats were delicious.

I took these two from bonnie's blog because i didn't have my camera handy.

The Results of Preschool

Jovie has had her ups and downs over the past few weeks at preschool. She did great the first two weeks, cried the 3rd, and did much better her 4th week. After the first two days she zonked out for hours. She was worn out. She has already learned so much. She knows so many new songs and stories. She has her new friends and has enjoyed her teachers.

Haven has done amazing at preschool. She is enjoying her new friends in her class. She will know so much by the time kindergarten gets here.
