Beach living!

We are so blessed that my parents have a little piece of Oak Island for us to enjoy. We had an interesting Memorial Day weekend trip filled with beautiful, fun days and sleepless nights. That's life for us these days, I guess.

Jensen enjoyed the beach and it made him so calm.

Haven was in heaven within 30 seconds of her feet hitting the sand.

Jovie was watching Haven run around like a crazy lady.

Hole digging

Proof that I was with this crew.

Nap on the beach, sucking those fingers.

Bikinis and boogie boards

Sitting up like a big boy.

We ate at the new restaurant, Frying Pan, at Southport. The views were awesome and the food was good.

The girls had a blast watching the boats coming in.

Saturday, we took the ferry to the Fort Fisher Aquarium.

The scuba divers were in the tank for a show. It was fun to watch them and interact with them.

They got to pet a few different types of sharks.

The new outdoor play area is awesome.

Jensen was so cute in his beach outfit.

Sleeping again. This nap didn't last long because a tween boy thought it would be awesome to get all of the seagulls to come eat crackers from him and then try to scare them away by screaming at the top of his lungs. Nice.

She was acting like a teenager, walking on the beach ahead of us.

They were so proud of this moat and played on the island for a long time.

Real men wear princess hats!

His feet in the water. He liked it!

Ice cream with sprinkles after playing at the park is always a good way to end the trip!

He grabbed my cone before I knew what was happening.
