Hawaii Day 5

On Wednesday, we headed north, as north as you can go until the road ends. The Pololu Valley Lookout was gorgeous. This is the Waipi'o Valley and we were so glad that we went to take it all in. The road does end here, but you can hike down to the water if you want. We didn't.

Haven looked like such a big girl. She wanted to get so close to the edges of everything. No fear for this girl!

Our family

On our drive back to civilization, we stopped at an awesome park for Jeremy and Haven to play for a few minutes while Jovie napped. We stopped back in the cute town of Hawi. We ate at a delicious NY style deli. I had a turkey sandwich with dressing and cranberry sauce on it. So good!

Haven took this picture of me and Jovie, as she was waking up from a nap in the Ergo.

We got a shaved ice and shopped around in some cute stores in Hawi. We then drove through a few other small towns that were mainly beach access areas and a few houses.

We stopped at Hamakua Macadamia Nut Company and took a little tour.

Haven got to help the tour guide crack a nut and she wore her safety attire.

We headed back to our condo and hit up the pool for a little while. These beautiful flowers were everywhere!

Lyndsey kept the girls so Jeremy and I could go have dinner together. We just went to Macaroni Grill because it was close and they had chicken for me to eat. The other restaurants only had steak and fish. We enjoyed a little one-on-one time and then watched some girls hula.
