Sweet Jovie turned 11 months yesterday. This was a big month for her. She is now crawling, standing up at toys/furniture, and walking along furniture. We can also tell that she has learned a lot of words and routines. The last two nights, I asked her is she was ready for night night and she looked at her daddy and waved at him. It was so sweet. She has said these words: dada, mama, nana (maybe nurse or mama), hata (haven), yay, mo (more), baw (ball), bye bye, ya-yu (thank you). She loves to watch me sign more, eat, cereal, milk, and thank you, but she will only really sign more sometimes. We are working on it.
Yesterday, we had some friends/family come over to play in the afternoon. I think the mothers were more excited to see the sun than the kids!
we are getting excited about our bonus room. it should be getting paint, trim, and doors in the next week and then carpet. we have plenty of room at the moment for playing and such, but i have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time in this new room. it is mainly for jeremy's drums, but i'm sure the girls are going to enjoy it too. they each have a little nook in the corners to play and we have little doors in each knee-wall for extra storage.
We are having our bonus room finished in, which means our long-term storage is unavailable right now. Well, our short-term, long-term storage isn't big enough for everything. When the room is done we are going to purge a lot of stuff before we move it back into to the long-term storage area.
We left the Christmas tree out and decorated it with snowflakes. I like to leave some snowflake decorations out throughout the winter just hoping and praying for some snow. Last year, we had a lot of snow. We are hoping to have enough to sled this year too. We are really enjoying our snowflake tree. I guess we will put it away whenever this room gets done.
We started this blog when Haven Noel was born on December 9, 2008 at 32 weeks and 2 days. We have been so blessed to watch her grow and now she is a big sister to Jovie Patricia. She was born on February 24, 2011 at 35 weeks 2 days. Both girls were little peanuts, but absolutely perfect. Jensen Phillip was born on November 28, 2012 at full term and we thank God for that miracle. We love God, our family, traveling, sports, and laughing.
