This past week

Haven and I went with friends to swim at Ray's on Monday. It was a lot of fun and she even let the water fall on her head and splash her. She has seemed to enjoy her baths more this week since our adventure.


Jeremy got Haven a "High School Musical" balloon for Valentine's day and it is carried around the house all day long. Yes, we have seen the movie and yes, we loved it.
Haven is getting really good at blowing her food and whistling along with others. She mainly hums, but her lips are so cute.
She likes to sing along with her favorite songs these days. It is so cute and I really hear a few correct words and sounds. She also is a pro at showing most body parts.


We really like her, we really like her a lot.

Valentine's Weekend

We survived another modem failure and another WinterSnowStorm 2010. Our days are filled with cleaning up toys and chasing around a little jogger. Maybe Haven will be a speedskater in Winter Olympics 2022. She is getting fast and hard to keep up with. She definitely looks like a speedskater in these skinny pjs. This outfit was the first one hanging in her closet and now it fits perfectly, maybe even a little too tight. We thought she looked so cute.



It snowed about 3 fluffy inches over Friday night and we were out and about when the first few flakes starting falling.


The powdery snow made such pretty scallops on our deck and retaining wall.



Happy Valentine's Day! Our camera is dying. Can you tell? Any suggestions on a nice camera?

14 months

Well, our toddler is 14 months old and she is definitely toddling around. She has the bruises to prove it. In honor of Valentine's Day here are some cute pictures of her showing some love.

This and That

Haven wore her cute clothes from Aunt Lyndsey the other night. I wonder if she would fit in over in Thailand. The blond hair might not work.

Emily brought delicious brownies to the LOST party the other night. She even decorated them LOST style. I don't even know what this thing is called. Jeremy will have to fill you in on this thing. Sorry, I left the party and watched my fave show "19 Kids And Counting".

Also, I love our new metropolitan bedding. I feel like we now sleep in a downtown loft. It is all from ikea and it is perfect for us. I love pulling things together and being surprised by the outcome.

Two Wrongs Made A Right

1/2 cup of Light paint + 1 Tbsp. of dark paint = a pretty good match for our old paint

I have always loved mixing colors while drawing, painting, etc. So, this time my mixing skills paid off. I haven't noticed my walls the past few days, so I think that means I fixed my big touch up painting mistake. Thank God!

Blogworld, We Have A Walker!

Haven has been taking steps since the beginning of December, but over the last week she has taken off. She loves it and we like it too!


Today is Haven's 1 year old adjusted birthday. Only 1 more year of adjusting her age, which we really don't need to do anyways. Praise God!
