Weekend at Oak Island Part 2

Here a few more pictures of our weekend. Haven smiles really easy now when we make silly faces at her. She is such a sweet baby and I love to hear her coos. She and daddy had some quality time.

Weekend at Oak Island Part 1

We had a wonderful weekend at Oak Island. Grammy and Pop's new house is beautiful and the restful break was much needed after a long 3.5 months. Haven enjoyed the change of scenery and we really enjoyed spending some time with our cousins Pete, Dana, Boyd, and Kyli. Boyd ate a whole plate of crablegs and Kyli used her imagination to think of every possible milkshake in the world.

The weather was a little cloudy and it rained in the night, with a few sprinkles during the day. The temperature was really nice. We enjoyed a nice walk and I had a wonderful run to the beach and back. Haven didn't really like the cold sand, but she did well while I took some cute pictures. Enjoy!

Daddy isn't choking her, she just jumped into her Wonder Woman pose!
She's already got Lynda Carter's blue eyes

A few "firsts"

Yesterday Haven went to mommy's work for the first time at Shining Hope Farms to see Mrs. Delane. She saw Delane, a physical therapist, just to make sure that I am doing everything I can for her to have a nice, round head and for tummy time. Everything was great and it was fun to watch Delane assess her. Today while playing, I thought I would try helping her flip over. She started kicking her legs, so I ran to get the camera and she put on a show!

More pics of Baby Bethany

Bethany Lillian McSwain is so sweet (Name origin- Josh's grandmothers are Elizabeths and our Pawpaw Gunnells' middle name was Bethel and Pawpaw Bradham's sister was named Lillian).

She and Haven are going to have so much fun together. Hopefully the tears will be few and far between. Yeah right.

Uncle Jeremy got to meet Baby Bethany today. He's not high, just kind of silly.

Baby Beth is here!

Jeremy and I have a niece! Wendy gave birth to Bethany last night at 11:18pm. She weighs 8lbs 9oz and is 21 inches long. She is beautiful. I can't wait to get a picture of her with big brother Jake and cousin Haven!

Turn that frown upside down!

Haven has started smiling! The last few days in February she started to get a sweet, happy look on her face, so we knew it was coming. We had to wait 8 weeks extra since she came so early. We were so ready to see her sweet smile and at 12.5 weeks here it is....

Snow again!

Sunday night we had our biggest snow in 5 years. We had 6 inches at our house. Haven and I were excited that Jeremy got to work from home!

Our little snow bear weighs 8lbs 11oz! Praise the Lord!
